"Phoenix Three Belts"

Written January 28, 2022

At Podcast Promo Rumble 7, The Phoenix proved once and for all that he is no longer the underdog of Max Wrestling. Walking into the event, The Phoenix was defending both the Knowledge and Television Championships. He was also chosen by Chad Malcolm to challenge for the World Championship. With a 3 in 6 chance of leaving the event with gold, The Phoenix also entered the Ring Of Games on the Podcast Promo Rumble 7 Pre-Launch Show when two competitors failed to appear. His weekend winning streak began with a Ring Of Games victory over Travis Anderson and Moses Marquez. As the prize was meant to be a shot at the Television Title, and Phoenix was already champion, he was given the chance to choose his own challenger.

After selecting Moses Marquez, Phoenix kicked off the main show with a Quickfire win over his longtime rival to retain the Television Championship. He then went on to defeat Travis Anderson in 3 Stages Of Knowledge to retain the Knowledge Championship. Finally, in the main event, Phoenix squared off with Chad Malcolm in a Pre-Determined Promo Exhibition for the World Championship. Malcolm had already raised the stakes with the added stipulation that if he was to lose the title to Phoenix, he would receive Phoenix's 2021 Iron Bank briefcase - which still has until PromoMania VII to be cashed in. In the exhibition, "The Lawyer" Malcolm informed Phoenix that he added another clause to their match, where he would get to choose the next World Title challenger. With that, he then relinquished the World Championship to Phoenix and received the briefcase in exchange. Following this result, Phoenix became the first person to hold all three major championships at the same time. And with the weekend not over yet, Phoenix could even end up holding ALL available championships with the Predictions Championship on the line for WWE Royal Rumble.

Phoenix's celebrations were cut short though, as Chad's chosen challenger made his presence known with a pool cue to the back of Phoenix's head. The Captain himself then stepped forward, signed the contract and pointed to the PromoMania sign. You can watch this moment in the promo exhibition below:
