Promo Series 7: Rising Storm (2022)

Promo Series 7: Rising Storm is the upcoming forty-first Max Wrestling Podcast special, and seventh under the Promo Series chronology, taking place on November 24, 2022. It will be hosted by "The Captain" Dazzy Dangerously and ​Moses Marquez plus special guests including Beer, Chad Malcolm, Cypher, Daniel Crimmins, Kinny Killa, Mike Larkin, The Phoenix and Travis Anderson.

This event will feature the traditional Winner Stays On gauntlet for the Knowledge Championship. The Predictions Championship will be on the line for WWE Survivor Series.

Continuing the tradition set at Promo Series 2: Sudden Death​ in 2017, the Knowledge Championship will be defended in the Winner Stays On gauntlet.

On the August 4th, 2022 episode of Max Wrestling, The Captain sent in a promo during his week off, celebrating his victory at PromoSlam. He also announceed several matches including a rematch between Marquez and Cypher for the Television Championship, and issued one more shot to Anderson for the World Championship, this time in a triple threat match with Chad Malcolm. The Captain also announced he would compete for the Knowledge Championship for the first time in its six year history, as the final challenger in this year's traditional Winner Stays On gauntlet. On September 29th, The Captain announced that the first challenger in the gauntlet would be Beer.

Following Larkin's series of promos over several weeks, The Captain invited him to the 400th Episode - which Larkin declined, instead opting for an appearance at Promo Series - which was also his first event in 2016. On the August 4th episode of Max Wrestling, Daniel Crimmins co-hosted with Marquez, and challenged Larkin to a promo exhibition.

On the August 11th episode, Larkin declined the challenge from Crimmins. However, The Captain reminded everyone who was in charge and announced that if Larkin wanted to be part of Promo Series 7, he would have to face Crimmins.
